Totango

Configuration details for the Totango integration.

Via the Totango destination, Hightouch can upsert new accounts or account users.

The Totango destination supports the upsert mode:

• Upsert — Upsert mode pushes new accounts or account users to Totango and updates fields that change in your warehouse.

Setup

Find the Totango Service ID by navigating to the dropdown on the top right of the interface and copying the 5 digit value in "Service".

Then, we can navigate to Edit Profile > Integrations > API Token Key to find the token:

Modes

Account Upsert

In this mode, new accounts will be inserted into Totango and all designated columns will be kept up-to-date within Totango.

Upsert has three configuration parameters:

Name	Description
Hightouch Column Containing Totango Account ID	The column in the query results containing the Totango account ID, as seen in the Totango URL of the account page.
Hightouch to Totango Field Mappings	A list of columns that will be pushed to accounts in Totango. Each time a sync occurs in Hightouch these columns will be updated.
Hightouch to Totango Custom Field Mappings	A list of custom columns that will be pushed to accounts in Totango. These Totango fields must be entered manually. The field names can be in Global Settings > Data Management > Data Modeler > Account Information.

Account User Upsert

In this mode, new users will be inserted into Totango under a parent account and all designated columns will be kept up-to-date within Totango.

Upsert has three configuration parameters:

Name	Description
Hightouch Column Containing Totango User ID	The column in the query results containing the Totango account user ID, as seen in the Totango URL of the account page.
Hightouch Column Containing Totango Account ID	The column in the query results containing the Totango account ID, as seen in the Totango URL of the account page. This will be the parent account of the Totango user.
Hightouch to Totango Field Mappings	A list of columns that will be pushed to accounts in Totango. Each time a sync occurs in Hightouch these columns will be updated.
Hightouch to Totango Custom Field Mappings	A list of custom columns that will be pushed to accounts in Totango. These Totango fields must be entered manually. The field names can be in Global Settings > Data Management > Data Modeler > Account Information.
